If you are concerned about the costs of your dental care, Dr. Sirin understands. Please feel free to bring up the subject. For some treatment plans, there may be options that are less expensive. Some treatments can be spread out over time to make them easier on your budget. There are a variety of ways we can help you get the care you need while keeping it affordable. Here are several ways we can help:
- First of all, Dr. Sirin is a strong believer in conservative dentistry. He would much rather preserve your existing tooth structure than replace it with restorative material. Dentists vary in their philosophy here, from aggressive to conservative. Put Dr. Sirin way over on the conservative side here.
- If cost is a concern, just say so. Dr. Sirin will not try to twist your arm to accept treatment that doesn’t fit your budget. If you need bridgework but can’t afford it, a removable partial denture may be an adequate solution. Maybe some of those crowns you need can wait until next year.
- Quality dental care is always the least expensive over the long run. If a filling lasts 20 years instead of 5, that can save a lot of money. Similarly, Dr. Sirin emphasizes prevention, which will always keep costs down.
- We have payment plans available, including no-interest plans.
I Don’t Have Insurance
The best plan, if you don’t have dental insurance, is to stay current with prevention and checkups. A cavity prevented is one that you don’t have to pay for. And, if left for a couple of years, a small filling can turn into an expensive root canal and crown. Too often, when people lose their dental insurance, they put off these visits and that’s where they end up later having to spend a lot of money.
Dr. Sirin is a strong believer in keeping his fees reasonable, so you don’t need to fear high fees. Keeping dentistry affordable is very important to him.
We also believe in “no surprises.” If treatment is needed we will go over any foreseeable expenses and charges with you before any treatment begins. We would never start any treatment without discussing it fully with you first.
Of course, if you do have dental insurance, we will make certain you receive the maximum benefits you are entitled to.
I’m Afraid Need a Lot of Dental Work
That’s, okay. We are here to help. We know how difficult it is for some to visit a dental office. We are here to make the process as easy as possible on you and your back account. There is no need for embarrassment. We’re just glad you are being proactive about your oral health.
If it is your first visit we will need to exam your teeth and gums before anything else to determine the condition of your teeth and to ascertain if treatments are needed. If treatments are needed a series of steps will be put in place that gets you from your current oral health condition to a healthy smile all while staying within a realistic budget.
